Like most sectors globally, the Indian sports industry too took a tumble owing to the coronavirus pandemic. Just when we were ‘finding our feet’ on the global sporting stage – with accolades in many team and individual sports in recent years – our efforts have been brought to almost a standstill.
The imperative now is for the important stakeholders to convene and put in place steps to reboot sports and see to it that the pre-lockdown efforts and achievements do not go to waste.
