Preethi Kanthan currently works in a dual capacity with Hero ISL as their Fan Engagement manager and Central Operations resource. She started her career with IMG as a junior events executive and grew to the position of Sr. Manager in IMG. She has been a part of the Indian Premier League (IPL) since its inception, and has been instrumental in creating a system and structure in place for the hospitality division of IPL for which she was made the head of in 2015. Preethi was later promoted to a full-time role with IMG as Sr.Project Manager for creatives division of IPL in 2019. As a sports events consultant She was a part of many up and coming leagues in India. She was part of the inaugural year of Hero ISL and TNPL (Regional Cricket T20 Tournament in Tamil Nadu) and PSL, also held the role of Senior Operation Manager with Sunrisers Hyderabad from 2013 to 2014. As a Senior Operations Manager in SRH, she helped create the venue operations structure which is still in use for the event. She has also introduced project management softwares like basecamp and smartsheet to other events to create a seamless system in place. She covers topics in the Event Management Module at the PILLAI/FIFA/CIES Executive Programme in Sports Management.
