On January 20th, 2024, the Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research hosted an online CIES Conference, delving into Communication Strategies tailored for the Olympic Games. Mr. Saint-Clair Milesi, a distinguished figure renowned for his pivotal roles in prestigious events including the Paris 2024 Olympic Bid and the Rio 2016 Olympics, graced the event as the keynote speaker. Currently serving as the Managing Partner at Share4Sport, Mr. Milesi brings a wealth of experience working with esteemed clients such as Le Coq Sportif, Val d’Oise, and the International Olympic Committee.
This marked Mr. Milesi’s second appearance addressing our students, following his wonderful in-person lecture to our 3rd Edition students back in 2021 at the Pillai Campus. The conference spotlighted the imperative of crafting effective Engagement Strategies crucial for bidding on colossal events like the Olympics. Mr. Saint-Clair underscored the pivotal role of public interest in this process. He emphasized the significance of identifying stakeholders, comprehending their roles, and meticulously mapping them to construct robust communication strategies.
